Indie folk-pop artiste Vanessa Faith recently held a launch party to mark the release of her debut EP, "Inner Voices" at CrazyWorld Cafe, Singapore, on 22 July, 2012. The sold out party began with an opening act by guest performances before the main act, Vanessa Faith herself, took to the stage. The night was characterized by heartfelt storytelling, as Vanessa poured her heart out and explained the meaning and significance behind each song in the album.

The debut EP, Inner Voices is an Indie Folk album, drawing on musical influences such as Feist, Ingrid Michaelson and Brooke Fraser. Good music speaks to you in ways where words fail, Vanessa Faith says. Inner Voices echoes this sentiment, with songs like Green-Eyed-Monster and Peek-A-Boo written as a response to her struggles and many episodes in life, particularly in the past two years. The album has a heavy emphasis on the themes of Freedom and Victory as she learnt to deal with what life handed her.
